I started this melee combat simulation project as a solo development. I am planning to create a dynamic combat demo in an attractive and mysterious environment. The main purpose is to make the combat fun and feel good.

Finished with weapon tracing, melee combat animations, sword sheath and draw states, and enemy AI with chase and attack.


The enemy follows defined tracks until the player gets nearby or presses a certain key at the moment.

Weapon tracing along the weapon that is equipped, using an animation notification. This allows to detect whether the player or another pawn has collided or not.


Designing attractive VFX for the weapon trails to improve the combat experience to be more intense and visually satisfying.
